EBSCO A-to-Z® - Your Web-based resource locator tool.

EBSCO A-to-Z® is a locator tool listing all of a library's e-resources, including e-journals, titles in full-text databases, publisher packages and e-books. EBSCO A-to-Z can include print titles and other local resources you choose to upload.

The master EBSCO A-to-Z title database represents all major database vendors and publishers, with information on approximately 350,000 unique titles from nearly 3,200 databases and e-journal packages.

The easy-to-navigate, searchable list of journals allows end users to quickly find any journal or resource, even those buried in a database. Administrative tools allow you to customize the journal list for your library, including branding the site to match the appearance of the library's other Web-based services.

EBSCO A-to-Z® with MARC Updates

Some libraries use a list of e-resources (like EBSCO’s A-to-Z product) as a supplement to the library catalog. Many also prefer to include this information in their online catalog. The somewhat fluid nature of e-content makes manually cataloging the titles impractical. Even with various vendors providing MARC (Machine Readable Cataloging) files and lists of titles with links, creating the automated or semi-automated processes of loading these files is daunting. EBSCO offers a solution to this problem by adding a MARC record service to the A-to-Z product.

A-to-Z customers can elect to receive a MARC file of their electronic holdings on a monthly basis by subscribing to EBSCO's A-to-Z with MARC Updates Service. This service acts as a single and comprehensive source of MARC cataloging, allowing libraries to easily include virtually all their e-content in their catalog. Whether the library is considering using separate records for e-content or merging e-content links with print records, the data from EBSCO can greatly simplify this process.
